I like the leek and the milk in Johns grocery bags

I am astonished that there are no commercial collectibles for this show - figures, busts, etc?
Surely the BBC is used to merchandising (see Doctor Who and Top gear etc).

This is so clever. I would buy them if they were commercially available.

Ahhhh, it's a leak! I was staring at it for ages and was like "WHY IS JOHN CARRYING A MINI TREE?!"

I'll put this on the list of "stuff I think I need but can never have in a million years."

Totally adorable! I've seen these on Pinterest and they're awesome.

they're really nice Bluebell! What are they made of? Love Sherlock's hair and John's jumper really nice and cute!

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. It's some air-dry play dough and quite elastic. even after it's dried up it's still like sponge and very light.
Offline
Bluebell, they're amazing.

Very nice, Bluebell!
I didn't know about that kind of dough so far. I made a Sherlock from "real" clay, but this one seems worth giving it a try, too. Wonder where to find it. Can you help?

thank you guys, I'm very happy you like them. they're very simple but fun to make and have around
well Mattlocked, I bought it about 3 or 4 years ago at a shopping center. just something for kids with 5 colors (red, green, blue, yellow and white), nothing special. I didn't make anything for a very long time, then I just decided to make something. I wanted to make Moriarty and maybe Mycroft and Lestrade (with a donut) too, but I got lazy. here I'm putting 2 other photos, one with the back of Sherlock's hair.
The one you made is on your avatar right, Mattlocked? It looks very nice and detailed. I guess clay is more suitable for detailed work.

I think I have to take a look next time when doing the shopping.
Only those 5 colours? That's even more amazing, you made the perfect mix!!
That's right, details are easier with clay, but my Sherlock is also a little bit bigger than your sweet dolls.

This air drying sort of play-doh is called Modair in the UK. Don't know if that will help when you are looking for it.

The woman. She didn't exactly turn out the way I wanted though.

Why? She looks great!

I have Sherlock and John dolls! Shall I post some pictures of them? Not made by me or course, but they are lovely.
