Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Got a couple more pics for y'all!

I'm not sure if there's a right place to post this kind of thing, but here's a link to a Sun article (some of you may have seen it already) about Benedict Cumberbatch being voted sexiest man 2 years in a row and his reaction to being a "sex symbol" (not a big fan of that particular turn of phrase myself, but it does apply here ) and some other stuff he mentions...he really does sound like an interesting guy

First, here's a link to the full 14 seconds of the shower scene in real running water live action.  (Fasten seat belts before clicking)  video

He's like 'Ugh, water. Go away, water. I don't like you, water.'

Part of what the actor said he wanted to portray with the character, is his pretty much complete indifference to his surroundings unless he is actively engaged in advancing his own agenda.

In the great scene where Harrison surrenders and Kirk starts punching, Harrison's response is perectly calm and blank.  The water, the shower, the nudity is all a matter of indifference to him.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Great. I just showed hubby: "Look which scene they deleted in STID".
I didn't know about the sound then.

Armrests wouldn't help me. Not when I turn to goo and just sliiiiiiide onto the floor like a bowl of warm Jell-O. heh

Lily: Maybe it's only part of the scene and we get an explanation when they put the whole thing on the DVD. Or the water's cold. Or the shower gel smells bad.

Or the poor baby's lonely. *raises hand to volunteer to keep him company*

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

These shower pics were the first things in the morning I saw today. To be precise: after having come out of my own shower.

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

H-u-n-k ... thank you, Susi. Learning new words here each day

*smile*

My computer dictionary only shows two meanings for the word hunk, and the first one is, a well-built sexually attractive man. The second has to do with a large piece of something without definite shape, like a hunk of bread, lol. How does anyone ever learn English?

Could have been that Bones made him shower before examining him. Must have been quite sweaty after all this fighting.

*rolls eyes*  Surely you can think of more creative and, um, fun reasons why he might have been sweating and undressed and showering. And yes, I am incorrigible. *shrug*

It was probably a good thing that this shower scene got deleted from the final film otherwise the cinemas with you lot in could have got kinda messy!

No shit, Sherlock!     (I had to say it!!  )    (seriously... I'd be a little worried about going with my mother!)
Oh.... my...  holy crap, people...  gonna give a girl a heart attack....         And don't get me wrong, totally caught by stuff like that, too, but as Davina said, to be a cat among pigeons in a way, I almost also like him better when we saw him in his sheet.  Not sure if I'm the only one to find a super-buffed body super eye catching, but almost 'too much' compared to gorgeously fit yet sleek?     Eh, they definitely both better fit who he was playing at the time, though, and admirable job on his part.... can't imagine Sherlock looking like that!!

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.
