Wow, sexism or not, this made my morning.

Sexism is when you claim that one person is less equal than the other due to her/his sex/gender.
Sexism is not about sexy

Mark gave us a very nicely lit (not) shot today from Episode 2 wrap

Sorry, but this is a non-spoiler thread. The pic has been posted here:

I dislike being outnumbered. It makes for too much stupid in the room

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

It was just this somewhat heated discussion about Alice Eve's underwear scene. So JJ Abrams pointed out topless Kirk and showed this one here to restore the gender balance.

Me, too. He said in an interview in People magazine that he was eating 4000 calories a day during the ST filming, went up from a 38 to a 42 suit size.

But for Sherlock, the leanness goes along with the fact that Sherlock never eats (I don't count coffee and a packet of Quavers as eating), runs off all his calories, and completely disregards his physical self as anything worth noticing or taking care of.

Right, I remember reading that. Also in that People magazine interview, after being asked "So, you play a really intense character in the new Star Trek film, how does that compare with your real personality?" (something like that) the first thing he responds with is this "I'm a big softie." I was standing in line at a grocery when I read that...I got looks when I did a little jump and smiled widely and went "D'awww", hehe xD

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

As sexy as this maybe, I, too, prefer the slimmer look. It's great for the STID character but wouldn't fit most of his other parts, not only Sherlock. Just imagine Hawking or van Gogh looking like a hunk.

Am I the only one who finds the shower scene funny?
He's like 'Ugh, water. Go away, water. I don't like you, water.'

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

My pleasure.

Lily: Maybe it's only part of the scene and we get an explanation when they put the whole thing on the DVD. Or the water's cold. Or the shower gel smells bad.

Pretty much the same here. I don't find any extreme amount of muscle attractive, I prefer 'em lean xD ...any pic of Benedict shirtless though (slim or not) will be considered swoon-worthy in my book!

Where I am it's morning, so...here, have some Benny for breakfast! xD

It's the shower of evil. I wonder when he had time to take a shower? Was it on the ship? Or at the beginning of the film?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Could have been that Bones made him shower before examining him. Must have been quite sweaty after all this fighting.
