Hi there!
Please, don't take my nickname too literally, ok? hehe!
I'm Fanny, 29, from France (and yeah, I do know what my first name means in English, rolleyes). Been a widow for a couple of months, and live with my 3 year old son.
I've been a huge fan of Supernatural for years, discovered Sherlock last month and completely fell in love with the show.
I love slash (so yeah, I ship Johnlock) but I can behave, promise! lol.
Well, I'd better stop talking before I lower the IQ of the whole message board. ;)

What a sweet introduction, Fanny! I think we're all in love with this magnificent show - so you are fitting in here quite well.
So sorry for your loss. Maybe you will find some distraction here
Welcome!

Welcome to the forum, Fanny!
You know, we've got a nice Johnlock thread here.
Make yourself at home and have a nice time here!
Greetings,
Mary

Hi Fanny, welcome here. If you start like this already, I have no hope for you.
Most of us started here quite sane actually, and look what has become of us
(No need to behave...)
But, seriously: I am also very sorry about your loss.

Welcome Fanny! You are late - but here you are!
Have fun and enjoy yourself! And don't believe Harriet, some of us are still sane.
Or not?

Sane? What is sane? Can't remember.

I think it's the opposite of insane. Know that any better?

Oh, don't worry about your sanity, being sane is boring! ;)
Anyway, thank you all for your kind words, what a charming welcome!
Have Germany invaded Baker Street? hehe! Hello neighbours!
And yeah, I know i'm late but don't they say, better late than never! At least, unlike you all, I won't have to wait that long for season 3, ah ah!

Not so late though as to not know the pain of waiting some time. You're in deep now!

Yeah, that's right... To be honest, I watched the last episode 3 weeks ago and I already can't stand waiting anymore :-D

Look around and see what waiting has made us do. Writing poems, playing silly and not so silly games, fainting over Benedict pics … And it's infectious, so be warned.

Hi Fanny - I'm just as new as you are
I'm very sorry for your loss.
Are you also a Dr. Who fan? That would make you a SuperWhoLockian

Well, in three weeks, I've already written 2 fanfics, learnt how to use Windows movie maker so that I could make the Sherlock video I had in mind (knowing I've been wanting to learn how to vid for yeaaaaaars! Sherlock made me do it, ah ah!) and watched about 3454689761 Sherlock or Benedict videos on Youtube. So yeah, I guess I've already been infected! (I'm not sure whether it's a smiling smiley or a very angry one, oh well...)
EDIT: welcome to you too, then, butterfly! And no, I'm only a Superlockian, hehe! And my husband died in August, but I haven't coped yet, obviously. Not sure I ever will, actually. Thank you for your words!

I'm not sure on that smiley either but it generally seems to be some sort of 'lusty' or 'overly content' smiley employed around here quite a lot.
You'll see it often in threads with Benedict being discussed.

What exactly are you trying to tell us, Susi?

Thanks for the smiley lesson! Very helpful. Now let's see if I'm a good student...
This one is when Benedict makes an utterly adorable face.
whereas this one would be used if John hadn't interrupted Sherlock and Mycroft little "sheet" argument and that Sherlock had actually walked away.
Good?

Bienvenue Fanny! So sorry to hear of your loss. Perhaps the madness of this forum may distract you a little (they are all mad you know, no matter what they say. Me? I'm 'normal'! Ha! )
