Re: Fan art

Just found this one and like it very much. You're invited to re-interpret well-known paintings, poems, sculptures etc. in a Sherlockian style. The quality varies very much but some are wonderful and there's a lot to see.  Check out the da Vinci drawing on page 1.

Re: Fan art

The Leonardo picture is amazing and I also really liked the Toulouse Lautrec one.

I'd like to see one in the style of Klimt...perhaps The Kiss?

Re: Fan art

There's a Klimt on page 2, but not The Kiss.

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

Re: Fan art

Love the absinthe one as I adore Art Nouveau. The last one is gorgeous because the combination of Sherlock/Benedict and Tom is well...nigh on perfect really.

Re: Fan art

Who is that holding the baby dragon, that I thought was a bat, except before that, before my eyes trained down on his hand, I thought was a kitten? Anyway, who is the other human? ???

Re: Fan art

Wow…. I love the ones you guys posted… and some of those are fantastic with the neat tumblr origin idea?  Kinda too bad always way too many cool pic sites try to browse to keep up on yet another tumblr… are any of you watching it?  Perhaps share any other gems you come across for the rest of us, maybe?  ;)  Speaking of which, another wonderful little tweak by an artist I've posted before (http://sallydonovan.tumblr.com):

We solve crimes, I blog about it, and he forgets his pants.  I wouldn't hold out too much hope!

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.
