Re: Star Trek

I did mention this forum and that i'm a Moderator n'all but he just looked increasingly confused (I don't think he knew such places for the addicted/overly-interested existed). Next time we meet (heavens knows when that will be) I shall try again  . I think he was still getting over the whole Star Trek, Benedict, filming Sherlock thingy.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

I was astonished! He raved about being excited about the new film and when I told him that, of course, Benedict Cumberbatch is the 'baddie'' he got all over-excited and started raving about Sherlock and how brilliant it and he is. He also had no idea what was happening about another Sherlock series so was really pleased to hear that they are filming now. Then he asked me how comes I know so much about it all...

Well, apparently you did your research

OMG. I'm finished. Tobe, Mattlocked, do you really think we will survive this?

Re: Star Trek

Ben speaking is indeed a case of emergency which means: Keep hands off popcorn, beverages, sharp and spiky objects and adopt the brace position.
(Or go and see the dubbed version.)

I must add that Kirk was clearly outbatched in this scene

Re: Star Trek

This one I've just found in the free "Coolibri" magazine. Praise for Ben all over. I wonder if that fan boy critic has actually seen the movie...

Re: Star Trek

I will take some coke, too, just in case I start to choke on my popcorn.

Susi, bring your smelling salt.
But the more important question is: Will we survive the dubbed version, once we have seen the original one?

Is there any reason why you would watch the dubbed version once you have seen the original?

Re: Star Trek

Tobe: I read that on Friday evening in a café and nearly hyperventilated.
Mattlocked: No problem. As for the dubbing - imagine his voice and enjoy the view.

I read that on the platform when waiting for my train this afternoon. I nearly squealed...

Re: Star Trek

Tobe, don't forget to bring a camera. I want to see Mattlocked with popcorn in her ears and the box over her head.

Hubby might want to watch it on biiiig screen, too. But here they don't offer any original version. So I'm afraid I'll have no choice.

Yes. I want to go with my family and do you think watching once is enough? How often did you watch Sherlock??

Popcorn in my ears and the box over my head will only happen during the dubbed version.
