I've started watching Sherlock when Scandal was aired in Germany, so waiting for S3 is the first (of hopefully many) times I'm waiting for the next series.
Following the flood of spoilers, I've started to wonder how it was last time, when you were waiting for S2. I'm especially interested in things the fans took for granted after seeing pics of the shooting that turned out to be wrong.
For example: I've heard that someone had seen a pic with Irene Adler wearing Sherlock's dressing gown and it was generally believed that this meant they would have some kind of, um, physical relationship.
But of course in the episode it turned out that they didn't.
Are there more examples for that?
And am I making myself clear?

Yes, you do.
And I also want to know. Because I was in the same situation as you were.

Same to me, I even discovererd Sherlock months after it was aired in Germany. Lucky me .
The only thing I´ve heard about, too, is that strange walk of Sherlock who was pulled on a small cart back to 221B (after he found out that Irene still lives). There was no real misunderstanding as far as I know but people were very much wondering about what he was doing there .

As far as I remember, the fans didn't by far behave that hysterically as this time. There were spoiler-free reports on Sherlockology from time to time and, of course, some photos and videos on youtube. I remember one with Benedict in a sheet entering a waiting car in front of 221b. And the snow shooting pics. And the tabloid pics and reports from the shooting of the fall scenes.
Oh - that was so long ago.. Must think it over...
