Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yes, being adored by fans and finding a life partner isn't quite the same. It would be nice for him but then he's working constantly. Let's hope he finds what he's wishing for.

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

“Enjoy the journey of life and not just the endgame. I’m also a great believer in treating others as you would like to be treated.” (Benedict Cumberbatch)

he´s said it many times - that he´s dissapointed for not having children in his age. but no doubt he will have any one day. but it´s probably not so easy to find a proper partner, even (or maybe because) there are many fans dying just to see him

Well, it's true that it's not easy to live under a spotlight, but if he tries, I'm sure he could maintain a decent level of privacy. The problem is finding someone who's right for him. Personally, if I wanted a kid I'd rent a womb and be done with it, but I'm not exactly right in the head. lol

Okay gang, we've had lots of images like this one on this thread - but I'm excited about it 'cause it's my very first attempt at a screen shot. It took me all night! Tobe, are you proud of me?

Good for you, KP. I still haven't managed it.

What word do you use?!

Instead of posh? I don't know. See, we don't do posh in the US. We're a bunch of cowboys, lololol. There are no classes here, no upper crust, etc. We've got your basic filthy rich, and we've got your basic welfare cases, and then we've got your basic everyone else in the middle, but no one here talks about class. We have no peerage in our society, and we never have. So the word posh.... we don't really have a direct "other word" that I can think of.

Well, we like to believe we don't think of class.

Hoity-toity? It is a bit mocking, though. Upper crust, maybe.

There are some regional terms, especially in the "original colonies".  Brahmins in Boston, Main Line in Pennsylvania. I don't think they really are common terms outside of their own regions. I just learned Main Line myself recently.

Right in the head? Of course he's not, that's why I like him. But he's righter than me, there's no argument there.

Screencaps are easy. You open a video, put it on fullscreen (and pause at the frame you want), press Ctrl+Printscreen (I think most computers have it as PRTSC) and then open a new page in paint, press CTRL+V and voila. Or you can download one of those programs that take videos apart into single frames and then you'd get a whole episode's worth of pictures. I'd go with ctrl + ptrintscreen.

… and his friends and all his family and I’ve no idea why I’m telling you this.
