Hey All,
Not sure if this is the right category for this post, going to try one other as well! My name is Alex and I go to Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where I am taking a class on New Media (and am also a HUGEE fan of Sherlock). We are actually working on a research project of our choosing on any digital media, and a couple classmates and I decided we wanted to explore fandom/fan cultures. As Sherlock being our favorite show between the 3 of us, we wanted to specifically highlight fan fiction and fan communities for just Sherlock.
We are trying to highlight the groups in a presentation/Wordpress post, and will definitely post the final product on here when everything is all said in done (due next week). I was curious if anyone had a few minutes if they'd be willing to answer a couple questions about your participation. It would be a hugeee help and much appreciated. We could definitely give you credit as well and/or if keep anything anonymous if you'd like. Please let me know! If you could, here are the questions we are looking to answer:
How much of your time do you spend on your works (if you write any fan fiction)?
Why do you produce the content you produce?
Do others know about the work you produce? Do you want them to?
Why are you a Sherlock fan?
How much do you interact with the community of fans?
Do you ever interact with any of the community members in person/outside the community?
Are you apart of any other (other Sherlock one's or other TV shows/groups) communities?
Thanks much in advance, and if you had any questions for me please feel free to message/email,
Alex Gamberg
