Not in the show he doesn't. To me, they always appear to be that pale sea glass green. I think there are a lot of manippers out there who are making them blue, for reasons or their own. There's no reason why a pale green eye would suddenly appear as a bright crystal blue, unless the photo was artifically colorized that way. Drives me crazy, but yeah, I need to get over it, lol.

Hmmm I don't know, they don't always look the same to me. In fact, in the show, they often do look light blue.

My husband and I have had a few conversations like this, going around and around about what is green and what is blue. We've finally decided that one or both of us is at least slightly colorblind. Apparently the perception of degrees of hue are at least partially individual, especially in the green-blue spectrum. I can't think of any reason why what I see as always-green someone else sees as blue. ???

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Shades in the aqua, turquoise, teal, and other green-blue range are certainly perceived differently -- more as blue by some and more as green by some. I remember looking for a particular car in a parking lot with someone once. He was looking for green and I was looking for blue, and it was the same car.

But as for Ben's eyes in the show, we might also be seeing slightly different colors depending on what screen/device we're looking at. You've probably ordered something online only to find it a different color in person from what you thought.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Well, it is true that different individuals percieve colors slightly differently. To me, his eyes appear to change between light blue, light gray and a shade of green that I would call the green side of turquoise.

One thing we can always agree upon--- whatever color they are, they're bee-yoo-tee-full.... mmmmm.

No one will disagree with that. My eyes change colour depending on what I'm wearing, so maybe his eyes do that?

Trouble? It's just one of her calm, meditative pics so that we have a quiet night.
