Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Oh, what a sweet morning. He looks so damn young in those.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

About 26, 27, I think. But he looks younger.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He generally looks younger than he is. o_O When I first saw him in Sherlock, I wouldn't have given him more than 28-29. And he was what? 33? 34? He looks a good 5 years younger than he is.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Although he's got those wrinkles on his brow and laughter lines around the eyes.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yeah, I know. But those are only visible when he laughs. And the little wrinkles are only visible sometimes.

Lol. Makes me feel old, ladies! He's a year younger than me and I'm 37.

Being only slightly younger than you I perfectly know the feeling. You know what feels good? Every time Sherlock is referred to as "young man" in a fanfic.

And YES, I know that Sherlock could be younger that Benedict. I just don't want to hear about it!

Makes me feel old too. And I am so much younger than he is. But I think I look 5 years older than I am. Which makes me wonder what I'll look like at his age. O_O

Baby!Batch. I can't stop giggling now, thanks.

What do you mean fake?

I can't take credit for the Baby!Batch thing-- I read that nickname here on the forum somewhere for the first time a few months ago. Proabably originated in tumblr somewhere.

His eyes are not blue, not a whit of blue. They're pale sea green. Drives me nuts that they're so often manipped/colorized to be blue. Just a pet peeve of mine, because I think the green is unique and absolutely drop-dead gorgeous with his natural auburn hair or his Sherlock dark brown.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Well, it's still makes me giggle uncontrollably.

Hmmm that doesn't look like it's been manipulated to me. It's the light, it plays tricks on you. My eyes do the same. Sometimes I could swear they're blue, sometimes I could swear they're green. It's an evil plot. The genes that give this eye color are going to spread all over the world and then activate and enslave us all! O_O

Ok, sorry. Lack of sleep, don't listen to what I'm saying. But from my experience, this sort of ambiguous eye-color appears to change depending on lighting and what you're wearing (red for example seems to bring out blue, black brings out green). Plus, that doesn't really look like blue.
