Well, usually it's dubbed of course. But for big films (like Hobbit and I assume Star Trek too) you also have the chance to watch them in english, without subtitles. Just keep in mind: Almost every film gets dubbed here. But the german synchronisation is really really good - every german word matches the move of the lips.

But we all get off on Ben's deep rumbly voice, and if a movie were dubbed with someone else's voice, well.... that thrill would be gone, lol. OTOH, it wouldn't be much fun to sit there and not understand one word of what was being said, either, so there is that.

.....Well, I cannot judge the dubbed versions in other countries but here in Germany the dubbing is pretty good. If it wasn't for Benedict's voice it would be normal for me to watch Star Trek in german. Though "I'll walk over your cold corpses" wouldn't have the same effect in german.

*laugh*  Funny, but it seems to me "I'll walk over your cold corpses" could be VERY well-said in German. Scary.

Why oh why oh why oh why do they persist in making his eyes blue? Drives me frellin' nuts.  Sigh. Otherwise, this is a gorgeous image. I love the new photos (new to me, anyway) that are coming out now-- finally, Ben as he appears now, not baby!batch stuff from 10 years ago. But blue eyes....  *weeps*

They look like orange crows to me. Strange. But it's always nice to see a pic of our boy half-nekkid, so I won't quibble.

And a rubber duckie in his bathtub, along with a floating rubber orange crow. Maybe. Or something. I guess.

And rubber duckie stickers on the bottom of his bathtub so he won't slip.

You guys seem to be in a kind of duck fever. OMG, I have no idea how to help you.
But maybe it's a bit better already?
