Great metaphor, AG.

"To fake the death of one sibling may be regarded as a misfortune; to fake the death of both looks like carelessness." Oscar Wilde about Mycroft Holmes

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

“Enjoy the journey of life and not just the endgame. I’m also a great believer in treating others as you would like to be treated.” (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Perhaps one John would use. Poor John, who is partly horrified and partly disgusted and partly admiring of Sherlock's behavior, but yet cannot escape his magnetism, even if he wanted to.

An example for a scientifically concentrated facial expression:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Oh, sweetie, you don't really want to get into that, do you? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all, and I think all of us agree that one of the things that attracts us to his looks so strongly is the fact that he does NOT look like anyone else, in any way, shape or form. He is unique.
