Hmm...who to dedicate this one to? It could be for Jim Moriarty but I think it should be for the 'ordinary people' like Molly, Mrs. Hudson, John Watson and Lestrade.

This song reminds me of the relationship between Sherlock and Moriarty - for obvious reasons if you listen to some of the lyrics!

Wow! That fits so well. Even the crown gets a mention.
This one is a bit of a laugh and I know we have John Barrowman fans onboard. This summaries Moriarty and Sherlock's relationship well. The safe gets a mention in this one.

This song actually makes me cry! Not entirely relevant but if you ship them then I suppose it is...

Reminds me of a friend on mine who suggested that Elton John would compose the soundtrack for series 3

Er... this could be interpreted as Slash but One More Night by Maroon 5 provides an apt description of Sherlock & John's er mutual need for each & mutual disagreements with each other:
You and I go hard, at each other like we going to war
You and I go rough, we keep throwing things and slammin' the door
You and I get so, damn dysfunctional we stopped keeping score
You and I get sick, yah I know that we can't do this no more
But baby there you again, there you again making me love you
Yeah I stopped using my head, using my head let it all go
Got you stuck on my body, on my body like a tattoo
And now i'm feeling stupid, feeling stupid crawling back to you
So I cross my heart, and I hope to die, that I'll only stay with you one more night
And I know I said it a million times
But i'll only stay with you one more night
Trying to tell you no, but my body keeps on telling you yes
Trying to tell you stop, but your lipstick got me so out of breath
I'd be waking up, in the morning probably hating myself
And i'd be waking up, feeling satisfied but guilty as hell
But baby there you go again, there you go again making me love you
Yeah I stopped using my head, using my head let it all go
Got you stuck on my body, on my body like a tattoo
And now i'm feeling stupid, feeling stupid crawling back to you
So I cross my heart, and I hope to die, that i'll only stay with you one more night
And I know i've said it a million times
But i'll only stay with you one more night
Yeah baby give me one more night
Yeah baby give me one more night
Yeah baby give me one more night
But baby there you again, there you again making me love you
Yeah I stopped using my head, using my head let it all go
Got you stuck on my body, on my body like a tattoo
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
So I cross my heart, and I hope to die, that i'll only stay with you one more night
And I know i've said it a million times
But i'll only stay with you one more night
(yeah baby give me one more night)
So I cross my heart, and I hope to die, that i'll only stay with you one more night
And I know i've said it a million times
But i'll only stay with you one more night

Sounds pretty much like slash

Yah but if you don't interpret it sexually (there has to be a non-sexual reading of it ), it's a pretty harmless interpretation of the Sherlock Vs John Vs Sherlock flat dynamic

This one is for Mycroft, could be sung by his father.
And this one could describe how Sherlock feels during the hiatus:
You only have to change the line "I don't know who you are" a little, probably to "how you are", and the rest fits perfectly. I leave it to your imagination who is meant with "you"...

John after TRF:
My hands are cold, my body's numb
I'm still in shock, what have you done?
If I could tear you from the ceiling
I’d freeze us both in time
And find a brand new way of seeing
Your eyes forever glued to mine.
Sherlock after TRF:
But I came and I was nothing
And time will give us nothing
So why did you choose to lean on
A man you knew was falling?

I'm running short on time, so I don't know if I'm repeating songs previously mentioned, but...
Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People for Jim
Oh No by Marina and the Diamonds for Sherlock
Someone Like You by Adele for John
Paradise by Coldplay for Anderson(especially the official music video)
Sweet Thing by Van Morrison for Molly
I'll probably think of more later...

There are some brilliantly made fanvideos for Sherlock using that song. :D
Not sure about your chioce for Anderson, though.

This feels very "Reichenbach" to me - aimed at John I think. I especially like the lyric "Our love is a puzzle that can't be solved":

I just started to like a song by Lady Gaga in connection with a Sherlock fanvideo.
Yes, I could have also posted it in the Sherlock fanvid thread, but honestly, I think the song is just fitting for Irene and Sherlock.
Hold me and love me
Just wanna touch you for a minute
Maybe three seconds is enough for my heart to quit
Let's play a love game, play a love game
Do you want love, or you want fame
Are you in the game?

I just realised how fitting this one is (Got it on my iPod for months now) :
Alter Bridge - Slip to the void
Slip to the void
To the dark
To the fall
Crawl to the life you should have known
You should never come this way
To test the hands of fate
You don't belong here
Peel back the skin
Close your eyes
Hell is born
To the abyss, but be warned
You fear what you've become
My God what have you done?
You don't belong here
But it's all in the way
You touch and you obey
Denial
Sever the ties
Trip the wire
Take your hold
Doubt is alive and you know
You were once led to believe
You were young and so naive
And now no longer
But it's all in the way
You turn your back today
Left to face this alone
Left to die with nothing you can own
Left to break in the cold
In the void that you made
The moment you let love go
Try win back your days
You let them all escape your heart
Now that you've come so far
Why did you have to fall so hard?
Look at what you've done
What have you become?

Johnlock and/or Mystrade: A Thousand years. By Christina Perry.

I heard Bonfire Heart by James Blunt on the radio today, and for the first time it made me think of Sherlock and John... but I'm not surprised to find at least four fan videos on YouTube with the same idea!

A Thousand Years of basically the official song of "Alone on The Water" by MadLori.
Besides that I can hardly listen to it anymore for personal reasons.
