Re: Sherlock alphabet game

Could be difficult to shove the Vermeer into the drawer: What about

Verne, Jules: Around the World in Eighty Days?

Re: Sherlock alphabet game

Well, given what we are putting in those drawers, their size is quite debatable. But probably a painting IS a bit oversized....

Re: Sherlock alphabet game

It could be a small painting. And a very big nightstand. Wardrobe size.

Re: Sherlock alphabet game

Things we will find in John's bedside drawer

Alarm clock
Badge of The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers
Cigarettes (They belong to Sherlock, John's just hiding them)
Drugs (for the same reason)
"Early English Charters" by Sherlock Holmes
"Fandom Rules" by Tumblr
Gun
Handcuffs. Also important.
Info sheet - How to deal with Sherlock Holmes. By SH (birthday present from Sherlock)
Jam (just a little storage)
Keys and coins (contents of his pocket where he keeps his iPhone)
Lottery ticket (a gift from Mrs Hudson)
Map of Dartmoor
Numbers to call in case of emergency (fire brigade, Lestrade, therapist)
Orchid-scented massage oil (!)
Picture postcard from his girlfriend with the nose
Quavers
Ring
Surgery magazine
Thank you notes, pre-signed by Sherlock, so John can fill them out for the recepients
Upstairs bedroom key
Verne, Jules: Around the World in Eighty Days, paperback, AND the Vermeer, the lost one. Unframed and rolled up.

Wristwatch (something "normal")

I have taken the liberty of adding the missing Y-thing:

Drugs (for the same reason)

Upstairs bedroom key
Verne, Jules: Around the World in Eighty Days, paperback, AND the Vermeer, the lost one. Unframed and rolled up.

X-ray from Sherlock's heart
Y-fronts
Zipper (to be repaired)

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."
