....and is only for science. Obvious.
(The small head is just a study. Study in Grey.)

Ars Gratia Artis eh!

Though it's dangerous to jump to conclusions without having sufficient data it would seem to me that you're not going to make the Golem (gigantic man made of clay).
Looking forward to seeing your progress in modelling that head...

Let's deduce from the pics whom she's going to model. Looking forward to it, Mattlocked.

You see, but you don't observe.

Fine. I wouldn't fall in love with him, but still....
There.
Will go on with it next week.

wow, really interesting!

He still looks rather cool, Mattlocked! Cheekbones, coat collar turned up...very nice indeed.

The problem is that I don't want just collar up and cheekbones... but the look!
But how can you make a perfect copy of a perfect face? Impossible.
But than again, it's still just a study, right?

This one's just WOW. But I think it's easier to capture the look on paper than in clay.

As I'm working both ways I have to disagree.
At least for me working things out on a "flat" paper sheet is more difficult than modelling three-dimensional.
Right now I have the problem that the pictures are two-dimensional and I have to change to three-dimensional.
I think I need a more natural model.
The drawing is really great!

So, here we go. Now dry and resist the heat, my dear....

Just wonderful. Awesome. I'm lost for words!
That look of concentration on his face - very well done! I like the structure of the" woolen cloth" - is it an impression of kitchen roll paper? It looks so genuine. And the hair - OMG! Fantastic.

And I love how he's holding his head and shoulders. Totally in character.

It looks great. Especially the idea with the wing.

He's tiny what a surprise!
'What color will it be after being burnt?

Thank you!
Yes, he's tiny. It's still the study, that's why. So there is more to come.
As practical person I made a (half) figure out of it.
Burnt it will still be kind of grey. I think I will put on a bit black colour afterwards. Maybe.
24 cm, btw...

Burnt? So Jim got his wishes then? Or is he getting fired?
