We could send him an invitation. Although … thinking about the washing machine and the body parts  and all that …

He can fangirl with us.

You know you are obsessed when your shop for selfmade jewelry sells pearls with letters on them, but you don't manage to find all for SHERLOCK, so you almost tell them you will never, ever come back and buy anything there again!

Question: Do men fanboy?

You should tell them off in the shop. I mean, the letters aren't exactly rare, are they?

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

No, you're right.
I found 1.000 pcs. of Q. No O. Maybe I should have checked UMQRA instead.
I think they had 10 letters from 26.

Somewhere I read that BC is a "fanboy" of something/-body. But I cannot imagine a guy "fanboying". It would look like fangirling anyway.

Was it about Adele perchance?

I can well understand him never having been obsessed with anything in his life. He can't very well be obsessed with his own cheekbones or eyes or hands, can he. What else in the whole wide world is there to obsess about? (well, of course there are other bits which I can't mention here)

We have a Chinese visitor in school, so the whole place is looking very Oriental.
One display has a lucky cat, which makes me smile!

I think if Ben is (fiction, yes) somewhere here (hi then!) , he is getting red in the face every day
I remember Sherlock everytime I go shopping to the Vietnamese vegetable shop (really often) - even though I know it´s not a Chinese antiquities market, I´m looking for hang-zhou numbers :-)

I pity him not to have chance to be obsessed with him, like we have

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

Everyone is a 'fan' of something. This is basically someone saying they are not obsessive. Which is entirely different to simply being a fan (although I am well aware than fan is an abbreviation of the word 'fanatic.') The line between fan and obsessive is just very fine for some people I think.

More than anything it shows an awareness of the great tradition of placing British actors in the role of the antagonist. I think this is someone who is aware of the stereotype and is trying to show that awareness and try and put an audience at ease. I don't think we're in for a stereotypical 'bad guy' performance, I think we might even empathise for his character before the end.

I am thinking the same. In fact I hope we will have sympathy for his character at the end.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

I'm quite sure he wouldn't play a one-dimensional bad guy. And according to what JJ Abrams said they worked on the script after having seen what he can do in front of a camera.

Well I've not been disappointed yet!

I have a good one and I wish I had my phone on me to take a photo of this one.

Walking alone about 2 days ago and a very sleek black car with blacked out windows pulls up near to me. I take a glance at the personalised license plate and it reads:

MYC 1895

Excuse me for saying: I sh*t bricks.

But they didn't ask you to take a seat inside the car?
WOW, what a moment!

Gosh, this is great! I'm sure he could have told you how Sherlock faked his death.

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

What was worse: it was parked outside a doctor's surgery... All I could think was 'poor John, he doesn't get a moments peace.'

I honestly don't know what I would have done had the door opened. Squealing like a girl and running away was probably a very likely scenario.
