Hopefully it's just me who finds these absolutely harmless pictures so very fantasy-appealing...

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I understand the appeal of no. 2, but what about no. 1?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

No. 1 is radically opposed to my own very reasonable dressing gown - that's why!

Sherlock's long legs backlit behind the dressing gown-- like a lady who forgot to put on her slip, lol. And John's expression, looking up at him, and the newspaper headline says SUMMO BOY. lololol  Love the domesticity, the bromance, etc. I even love that Sherlock is pacing and dressed for bed while John looks so pulled-together and dressed to go out. Hmm.

We dyed in the wool lovers of domestic Johnlock can find what turns on our fire in lots and lots of unlikely spots-- and this one isn't even that unlikely. I have spares of my rose-colored slash glasses, if anyone needs them. But they come with a warning: once you put them on, not only will you not want to take them off again, you might not be able to.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

the translucency of the dressing gown really teases my fantasy...even though he´s having trousers underneath

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Thank you very much for the explanation. I was too stupid to understand the pic. Now everything's clear and transparent - in every sense of the word.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Isn't it funny that they both like to work with riding crops?  Although I prefer Sherlock's approach.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Sherlock employs the only good use of a whip.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Just for the sake of correctness: Sherlock uses a riding crop and Irene a whip. That's not the same, it it?

And to distract from the gruesome subject with something more … aesthetically pleasing:

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Strictly not.  But thinking about it, Irene's item IS strictly a  crop!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yeah.
It's the same thing.
They just CALL it 2 different things!
I mean Irene's Twitter name could just refer to the fact that she whips people...but with a crop...she doesn't crop people!
