Self made ceramic tile in honour of Moriarty

My second tile I made from clay.
Letters are carved and after firing I added a bit colour and wax.
Thanks to Tobe and Susi for their advice!

The great artisans say: "The more Mattlocked's tile is worked upon the more beautiful it becomes..."
It looks truly wonderful now - congrats!

Re: Self made ceramic tile in honour of Moriarty

Thanks!
I posted it (without comment) at my ceramic-forum, too. Just to check, if maybe someone recognises something......   I guess it's hopeless though.

Re: Self made ceramic tile in honour of Moriarty

That's amazing, Mattlocked! How long did it take you to make??

I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee...
Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

Re: Self made ceramic tile in honour of Moriarty

Thanks Susi and Molly!
It took about six hours "net". Three for preparing the clay and carving the letters  - letting dry, then bringing them to my "firing service" - and about three hours for painting and polishing.
