Rats, I'm sherlocked too...

Hello everybody

My name is Helene, I'm French, and I'm addicted to Sherlock. Falling in love with fictional characters is a deplorable habit, and this time I have it worse than ever before. Now my cell phone ring-tone is Stayin' alive and I have Moriarty's icons as background for the display, my laptop wallpaper says "I am ___ locked", I've bought "I believe in Sherlock" buttons and I'm searching boutiques for a women's purple shirt of sex.

I have found a holmesian society here where I can talk to like-minded (i.e. totally out of their mind) people, but they meet up only once a month. Meanwhile I walk the streets of Paris in my Sherlock coat (made in China), I turn up my collar and I try to look cool even though I don't have the cheekbones.

Looking forward to joining the discussions here and talking to the other members who no doubt are as crazy as I am!

Bienvenue, Helene. Nice to have you here. You'll find many people who are as crazy as you so you'll have fun.

Hi biscuitbear (what a lovely name!),
welcome to us crazy lot - you will fit in here nicely!
I can easily imagine you walking in Paris - a beautiful city with one big fault - it isn't London...
Enjoy!

Too right, I'd look much cooler walking the streets of London in my coat, and probably some people would recognize it too!

On Etsy, there are loads. My favorite is the Kitty Riley button.

Mehe, I remember Sherlocks face expression when he catched a glimpse on this button.

Thanks for posting the link! So it's easy buying stuff and shipping it to Europe (I'm from Germany)?  I'll have look around then.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

It is easy, but from the US can take a while - and if you buy a bit more you may have to pay customs, too.
Actually I try to get all of this from the UK - if possible.
I bought from etsy, though. Some "hand stamped jewelry".

Good idea Sherlock! We could go to the rue des Boulangers and decorate the walls with some "I believe" posters!

Re: Rats, I'm sherlocked too...

Actually I'm part of the "Cerlce Holmésien de Paris" (it's more fun than the other one ;). We meet once a month and as the resident baker, my job is to bring biscuits each time.
