It's quite popular in English schools, isn't it? In Germany it's mainly played in clubs, often together with tennis.

No fair he should look that good passed out. It would make me want to take advantage of him, which is wrong while he's all vulnerable.

Obviously, this was the point the writers meant to make. They discarded the 'drugged and helpless' scene from the Unaired Pilot, and found a way of using the idea in a different way..

Personally I was glad, I didn't like either of the drugged/drunk scenes.
