Re: Elemantary on German TV

Moriarty? No, I didn't find a piece of Moriarty there.... A mix between Sherlock and House, maybe....

And did I get it right? The explanation (deduction) of Joan at the end, Sherlock is afraid of relationships? In German we call it "Bindungsangst" - o god, how I hate it!!!

Right! And it's so f**** annoying to explain the behaviour of a protagonist with "Bindungsangst".
I mean, it's always like this.

I suppose they tried to give him a bit of a Moriarty. Of course it failed.

Well, well, well… if there has to be a food allergy why not make it one that actually exists? #Elementary

Rice allergy doesn't even exist?

Re: Elemantary on German TV

I felt it was not really bad (in fact better than some other stuff) but not really good either. Nothing I need to see more of.
Perhaps in case nothing else is on?

However, someone here said before that the coming episodes are better than the first one...

Hubby's comment: "They stole all from BBC and then adulterated it."
His conclusions: "Mord mit Aussicht ist viel besser."

Rice allergy doesn't even exist?

But it had to be rice in the plot to dry the mobilephone.
Also, even if rice is not exactly likely to be an allergen, more or less any substance can become one.

Re: Elemantary on German TV

Yeah, I already told Susi, a lactose intolerance wouldn't have worked to dry the phone.

Re: Elemantary on German TV

I actually quite like the way he moves (maybe 'like' is the wrong word...however...) it definitely has a touch of the Asperger's/autistic about it.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

Re: Elemantary on German TV

I think I'll give it another try. Without House and Sherlock there aren't so many things I like on telly.
