Irene Adler: "Mr. Holmes, if it was the end of the world, if this was the very last night, would you have dinner with me? "
So, what do you think? Would he? ;)

No way, because the end of the world is not coming

I suppose Sherlock would consider it as waste of time
(Time he could spend with his work)

If there was something so considerably interesting like the end of the world, he would like to watch it .

Having dinner with her may well be a euphemism.

But it took an embarassing long time till I found out that 'having dinner' was meant as metaphor.

Calm down, girls.
Tobe, thanks for the proof. If that's what dinner means in this show, fine.

Yup - Sherlock ignored about 53 texts from Irene asking him to have "dinner" with her; but his very first day with John, he asks him to dinner twice - Angelo's and the chinese place. Ha! Ha! Take that Irene!

Thanks Susi, but I really don't have the emoticons any more. When I post a reply they are not there at the bottom like they used to be. I guess I need to complain to management! :-) I can't emote without them!
Sherlock Holmes! What have you done to my emoticons? LOL!

Don't you see the new layout with the formatting options on top? You can choose things like italics, colours, smileys, etc.
