Well, sure, but I thought a nice little girl like me should have the decency to mention only one of them and then thud in silence.

Oh, I think I have to leave now. It's getting too much for me again. Consider my age, ladies.

Okay.... Okay....  I usually don't post in these threads... (not because I'm not a huge fan of Ben!  just don't tend to get active with the picture stuff...)  ....but the past couple pages have just been adorably hilarious.  ;D  And all of you are making it really.... really.... hard to not let my streak of impish humor fly and post a particular picture that would be utterly (horribly so?) perfect.  Ahem... ah... 'perfect' being relative to your view of the outcome...
Being a somewhat newcomer and not reading back through every page in this (or every thread), I don't suppose the popular pic floating around of Benedict's photoshoot holding up a newspaper was ever posted... mm?  Believe me... you'd know the one I'd mean.  If tell me not... hmm... maybe I will post it....       Would hate to give poor Susi a heart attack, though.

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

1. I know what you mean.
2. I think it was posted some 100 pages ago.
3. I would not mind seeing it again.

Oh, it's late. I should go to sleep now. Good night.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Oh yes, that one has been posted already. Maybe even twice or triple.
But I don't think anyone here would be very angry finding it here a fourth time...
Pefect for Susi and Ani for breakfast, I assume.

And then: be very welcomed to the picture-addiction!

Ha...  obviously.  ;)   Well, I've done my deed, anyway, putting it in your mind again.  <g>   Hmm... when it was posted, though, was there any commentary with it?  I came across it on Pinterest, with which it was included with a neat quote from the photographer about the session.
Pfft... and of course I'm a teensy bit of a media-hog when it comes to saving/browsing favorite movie/tv/photography pictures/clips... just a little less active about it.   You guys are fun enough to watch, anyway....

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Comments?? Ts... Do you really think that anyone here sees text together with that pic?

But if I remember right, we also had it in the Caption Competition threads....

So, what was the quote you're talking about?

Pfftt...  fine... fine!  Ha!  ;)  Just giving too much credit?  ;)  Just nice coincidence the poster I first saw it from included more background information, and thought you guys would appreciate it.  (the story.  not the pic.  I mean... oh, nevermind.... here, have the whole thing!  surely this version won't be too much of a fiasco, considering it's nice an small.  And the text takes up as much room as the pic.  And...  um..  who am I kidding...)        Seriously, this just continues my amused appreciation of what a nice guy he seems to be....

(should be good with obvious copyright stuff right on the screengrab, too)

I wonder meanwhile what is worse here - the pics or the comments, which give those "ideas".

heh Why choose? It's all good.

I had always wondered about this pic. I mean, you never really knows whats behind the newspaper. Until now.  I'm surprised the photographer would suggest that in a public place. And, shocked that no one would take much interest. I'm just curious if anyone knows where this club and its oblivious patrons is located.

That pretty much describes her performance in the whole film.

Using my common sense only, I would say he's not naked back there, especially if that really was a public place with "regular" people hanging around at the time. He's got his tightie whities on anyway. And second, that little story reads like baloney....seriously, can you picture Ben doing something like that? It sounds totally out of character. That photo looks posed, some kind of publicity photo maybe. Again, this is just my knee-jerk common sense reaction only.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

There's no reason to doubt this story. It was several years ago and Ben's not THAT straight laced.
It's documented in this article:
HERE
The photographs will be unveiled at a special exhibition at the new Ivy private members club in London on Wednesday, before going on display at a new sushi bar at J Sheekeys restaurant in the capital.
"Shooting the actual celebrities has been pretty surreal at times," she said.
"I was shooting Benedict Cumberbatch the star of Atonement at the bar in the Ivy Club. We had this idea that he should pose naked on a bar stool with just a copy of the Financial Times He didn't think twice about doing it. He just stripped everything off in the club. There were other people around but no one gave him a second glance.
"

Alison Jackson is a very high profile photographer who likes to take the 'quirky' shots at times. I'd certainly believe an up & coming Cumberbatch would have jumped at the chance to do this photo.

Mycroft’s popularity doesn’t surprise me at all. He is, after all, incredibly beautiful, clever and well-dressed. And beautiful. Did I mention that?
