Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Well said, Tobe. It's the combination eye colour and form, the mouth with the Cupid's bow, etc. that's striking. And he has charisma which you can't rationally explain.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I do think he's gorgeous.
But I am really more interested in his intelligence and talent.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

For me his intelligence and talent are definitely part of his charisma. And the fact that he seems to be really interested in other people's wellbeing as can be seen from his various charity commitments.

He's what we called "nice" back in the old days. I presume he was raised right by doting parents who did their best to give him every advantage, as well as heaps of love and approval.

Besley, you made me smile when you said you cared more for his insides than his outsides. This must seem like a very shallow thread here most of the time....  we're forever thudding and swooning over his looks, after all.

I like the total package.

I am also always blown away by his acting skills-- I can tell instantly in any still picture whether I'm looking at Ben or whether I'm looking at his Sherlock. Even with Sherlock's hair and clothing, I can still tell when it's Ben looking into the camera, for pics taken on breaks or when he's just horsing around. Wonderful actor-- he just transforms himself into Sherlock when the filming starts.

There is just something about this pic...it's very "hey, look, I'm a star" but it's so incredibly....I don't even know. Can't look away!

I dislike being outnumbered. It makes for too much stupid in the room

I love that one, he looks fantastic. It's so ordinary, we've all walked off a plane, but extraordinary too, like he was walking off his own plane.

Gorgeous as any model, IMO. He must turn heads wherever he goes, especially now he has a stylist and doesn't look like an unmade bed anymore. I *love* his new clothes.

The lady behind is his P.A.
But yes, I think this is the most stylish I have ever seen Benedict look.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

And I love the contrast: He's looking so cool in this pic. And then he enters the terminal, sees all those people and just goes: "Wow!", turning around and looking up tot the second floor to take it all in.

Okay, this is brilliant. Witty, funny, sad and true. A picture really is worth a thousand words.

Just ' Sherlock' would have worked better.

So - THIS is Sherlock's mysterious walk-in wardrobe isn't it? It's not surprising that we don't see it in 221B because it isn't there. He obviously rented an extra apartment for his suits...
