His face in this pic isn't that bad either.

Nice. I like any color photo of him with the Sherlock hair and his green eyes shining out of his head. Yum.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Because of the lighting his eyes appear to be green in this picture. Actually, they are more blue than green - kind of iceblue with a touch of green and yellow and - oh that little brown spot above his right pupil. Thoroughly discussed on thousands of pages.
But who cares? If "gorgeous" was a colour it would describe Mr Cumberbatch's eyes...

Absolutely NOT! That was a highly scientific analysis.

We humans must have some variance in our visual perception of color, because I see no blue in Ben's eyes. To me, they're pale sea green. And yes, I love the little brown spot in the iris just above his right pupil-- you can only see it in certain photos-- usually his eyelid covers it.

I believe a lot of the photos that get posted on Tumblr and elsewhere have been colorized and his eye color is made more blue or even teal or turquoise than they really are. Just my theory about (what I see as) the confusion about his eye color.  ???

Good morning from here.
Have a nice day/afternoon/evening/night depending on this superfluous time zone business.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Initially I apologise if I have said this before and double sorry if I promised I wouldn't mention it again.
But can we please not post pictures of Benedict smoking.
Why would anybody want to do that?
Why advertise this bad behaviour which statistically is very likely to cause him severe health problems in the future?
I think it is dangerous of stars to smoke and I think it's irresponsible to post pictures of them doing so.
Smoking is not rebellious, it is not cool and it is not glamorous.
It kills.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I don't mind seeing pictures of him smoking and there aren't so many of these in this thread. I think he's a grown-up who can decide for himself. And most of our members are grown-ups, too, who can decide for themselves if they wish to smoke or not. And I trust that those who are not are reasonable enough not to follow his example just because it's him. IMHO today there is a tendency to criminalise smokers which I find at least debatable. There are enough laws against smoking, I don't think we have to go so far to ban pictures.

And now here's another braces Batch for you:

I love it when Benedict is in Sherlock costume but completely out of character.

I know, isn't that interesting? Fascinating.
It's almost as though there are two of them, twins separated at birth or something-- they look exactly alike, but from the inside are way different.
