Yes, tobe, I had always noticed this look between them in this episode and thought it was great.  So glad you posted it here so I can see it anytime I want. Can you post the one of Sherlock looking at John in the mirror in TGG?  It's probably on the Forum somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go looking.  I just love all these little Johnlock moments - whether it's our imaginations or not. I so enjoy letting my mind roam freely wherever it wants to go

@ KeepersPrice:
I think you mean this one, don't you? It's from Reichenbach:

Another "Johnlook" picture, this time from TGG, would be this:
(I posted it before in the "Fav moments" section.)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yes, sorry....the mirror shot is from Reichenbach not TGG. (posted early this morning-brain not yet awake

Still at work, but had to take a sneak peek to see if you posted the shot, tobe. Thank you! *Sigh* I do love it!  I still think when you know what's going to come at the end of Reichenback, this shot gives a foreshadowing of the gravity of the situation (no pun intended). I could be reading too much into this, but Sherlock already seems to know so much at this point - John does not (just like us).

I agree, their intuitive teamwork in TGG with Sherlock handing off his phone to John with just seconds to spare, and then his taking that one little moment to give John that "See, I know astronomy when I need to - you shouldn't ever doubt me" look is perfect. Love it when there's that one little moment for John.

Lovely. An old-married moment (in my little slashy pea brain). John is worried, all business, distracted. Sherlock only has eyes for him. Mmmm, one could write a Johnlock slash scene just from this one scene capture. It would be an interesting writing exercise to write it two ways-- first from one of their POVs and then from the other. Mmm. I like.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Benedict says on the commentary his fave shot of Martin is just after this, when John is left looking at the painting...

That one is really wonderful. No matter if you imagine them to be friends or lovers or whatever, just the look on Sherlock's face, as if he is thinking, "My John, the most important person in the world." It's heartwarming.

What is that hanging over the skull picture?  It almost looks like a sting of little Valentine hearts - but I can't really make it out.

Besley, we're not being too realistic here - we're just sort of letting our minds roam free to imagine Johnlock subtext to these shots.  However, that being said, it is these constant little glances and exchanges between the two that these actors do so well that definitely keeps the chemistry and the bromance angle going. We Johnlockers might be pushing the envelope just a wee bit, but we're not imagining all of it.
