But I discovered some paintings by so called New (?) Pre-Raphaelites showing men in some Johnlocky situations. In case anyone wishes to google.
Husssshhhh!
... and then my reading mistake: "In case anyone wishes to giggle..."

Yep, looks like it. OMG, we have so much in common LOL. I wonder if he was reading Parade's End
I tried to do an enlarged picture of his pretty face, but it ended up too blurry.
Yeah, our boy is literate.
Hep, did you hear that to make the Kindle more like a book, they're introducing a papercut app?

Have you all seen this you tube video of his insults? I must have watched this 25 times, and it always makes me giggle. He really is outrageous.
Just a little variation from Cabin Pressure: Go and be somewhere else!

His face is reminiscent of many of those you can see in Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
You're right, Davina! What a coincidence:
Five minutes ago, when I was flipping through my book shelves, I held this one in my hands:
I don't see it. His nose is short, and his eyes, while arresting, are not large.
But I'm not complaining.

Yes, or: "Martin, are you still here?" "Yes." "Don't be." "Ok."

Mattlocked, great video, thank you! I watched it before, but there's never too much Sherlock, you know .
I haven't earlier paid attention to the phrase "I always hear punch me in the face when you're speaking, but usually it's the subtext"

You're welcome 221B, but actually it was AG who posted it again.
This seems to be the perfect good morning pic:

Oh, you're right, it proves my being inattentive once again.
The pic is great! I won't believe that he exposes his (beautiful) hands unintentionally

Mattlocked, you found it one second before me! OMG, it's far too early in the day for this.

Well, someone cut the picture the right way so one might get a wrong idea? IMO all he's exposing intentionally is his expensive watch. lol
Susi, I'm very sorry if I ruined your day.

Thanks, I've recovered by now and can enjoy the sight of his … watch.

I noticed this 'hand's exposure' for so many times, that I'm about to think Ben is aware of their attractiveness . Or the attractiveness of his watch. Lol.

I see... but... where would you put your hands sitting like that?

Maybe he is, 221B. It's also interesting to see how he constantly touches himself during interviews, press conferences, etc. Neck, lips, hair. And he has the habit of shoving his right hand into the left side of his suit jacket about the height of his waist. He did this in Ghent, at the Crime Thriller Awards and on some other occasions. Don't know if he was feeling for a micro or his kidneys or whatever.

Imagine what those hands of his could be used for: Knitting, grabbing small items from behind the radiator, weeding, guitar playing...

Always thinking practical, Tobe. How come I'm getting some very different ideas about these hands?

Mattlocked, sitting like that, yes, it's quite natural. But there are lots of other photos: when he is in a blue costume, when he is standing near the tree wearing braces....
UPD
I adore this one

The picture on the cover of the book of the Pre-Raphaelites isn't an ideal example. I can find loads but need to find the picture codes so I can post a better example. There are lots, honestly, where the eyes, cheekbones and the mouth are exactly the same.

Exactly. This is quite an extreme example.
