He has a sort of come-on look in this.

"To fake the death of one sibling may be regarded as a misfortune; to fake the death of both looks like carelessness." Oscar Wilde about Mycroft Holmes

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

“Enjoy the journey of life and not just the endgame. I’m also a great believer in treating others as you would like to be treated.â€Â (Benedict Cumberbatch)

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

We'll make an exception just for you, Ricklocked.  My husband's just watching Perfume, Alan Rickman kissing his daughter good night. Just saying.

Well, with PE it's no wonder as CT is always described as being blonde and pale. Please take a look at the face and forget about the hair colour for once.  Maybe you should work as a hair consultant, AG.

I get that the character was blond and pale. Too bad they couldn't make it look real.  Maybe on-screen it looks better than it does in these stills. Pale natural blonds don't have that brassy color or the lack of natural luster that bleaching leaves behind so often. I dunno. Just a  pet peeve of mine. I'll shut up now.

Nice. Perfect hair, lolololol.  See? I'm always sure to say when I like it, not just when I don't like it.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

But, Aggie, wouldn't it look even better a little darker? And maybe with a little curl spilling onto his forhead?

Oh, my fave is always him as Sherlock. As long as they don't make the hair absolutely black. My fave Sherlock hair I believe was in Scandal. Especially in the scene where he tells John to punch him in the face, and John says, "I always hear punch me in the face when you speak, but it's usually subtext," his hair looks fantastic there. You know, more fantastic than usual, and that's saying something.

Anyone notice how we're galloping up on 100 pages in this thread?  heh

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Yes, dying hair blonde is difficult. I'm speaking from experience. There is only one way to get the colour out of your hair and that's hydrogen peroxide. Brutal but efficient. I suppose Benedict didn't want to torture his sensitive follicles.

I was just joking. Benedict once said:

“Pull the hair on my head the wrong way, and I would be on my knees begging for mercy. I have very sensitive follicles.â€

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.
