Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

My (slightly eccentric) Grandma just bought my dad one of those point umbrellas like Mycroft has. I'm already in trouble for nearly taking his eye out while trying to spin it.

Hmm. I really don't know. Oh, I'm sorry, did I say 'know'? I meant 'care'. I don't really care.

I did, too! I wear it on days when I need a bit of attitude.

Where did you get it from? I've been trying to find one.

I got mine at Coldwater Creek -- not exactly the place for hot, young fashion, but they had this shirt. Bonus: It's no iron.

I wore it to work yesterday hoping someone would comment on it, so I could say, "It's my Sherlock shirt." But no luck.

Yes it is, but only in Douz.

I have some dark amethyst earrings that would look fabulous with that shirt. Exact same color. Delish.

Yes it is, but only in Douz.

If you want Christmas, you've got to fly to Molokai (hey, that's a rhyme).

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

I went to a shop with my daughter which sells piercing jewellery, shishas and such stuff - but they also had nice decoration ideas like human and animal skulls with horns. Not that I at once thought of 221B …

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

We've got a new member of staff at work.  The other day she said to me:  hope you don't mind, I overheard you talking  about Sherlock.  Are you  a fan?
At which point, I merely opened my locker door and indicated my shrine of Sherlock pix!

Oh, I'm very much looking forward to it!
With a lemon-throwing blogger and a constantly thudding sociopath my flat will finally experience truly enthusiastic people...

In the US, we would call you an anglophile. Is there a German equivalent word for you?

Yes, they'll be quite a handful. All these body parts in the fridge and bullet holes in the walls.

Re: You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when...

We say "anglophil" in German - it's a Greek loanword.
But my office is nothing compared to my home ...
