I'll think about it. Good night.

Pah! Winter's on its way here. 6.40 a.m. and it is barely light. Please can I go into hibernation until Spring?

Susi, any word yet on the English translations of your books? I can't wait to meet this Leo person.

Of course, but you'll miss Star Trek and The Hobbit...just saying....

Spring is starting here in Australia, the daffodils are flowering and the spring allergies are due any moment now. Daylight saving starts here next weekend, then it's Christmas on the horizon. I believe some of you guys in the northern hemisphere actually have cold weather and snow at Christmas. How bizarre! That's the time of year we all have our holidays and head to the coast to surf and sunbake and get skin cancer. Bliss

Re: Chit-chat

Sounds lovely...not the skin cancer part...obviously! I think my nephew may be in Oz for Xmas this year. The Hobbit and Star Trek will brighten my wintery days. If we are lucky we might have snow for Christmas time. We did the year before last but then we were in Canada! We did have some here and all it did was completely and utterly disrupt everything. We are not geared up for snow in Southern England.

Re: Chit-chat

Yes, some of these guys do, hep. Me for example. It looks nice for a day, but then I'm fed up with it. I'd like to live in a warmer climate, doesn't have to be Australia, somewhere near the Mediterranean would do very nicely.

Re: Chit-chat

I'm glad to have all four seasons. I need all of them.
But then it slowly changes to snow at Easter instead of Christmas. This is really annoying. You want to see the first flowers but all you see is snow.

Re: Chit-chat

So a couple months ago our singer left from our rock band. Now in the last two days the bass player left to be an attourney and our drummer said he's out too. So now it's just me, my cousin and the keyboard player. We had rehearsed a dozen or so songs for 2 years and never got to get up on stage.

But from every pile of ash a fenix rizes. Me and my cousin have been warming up the idea of putting up a acoustic duo for like a year now and it seems there's no better time to do it than now. Our working title is Konami Code and we'll be playing cover songs mainly from the nineties. Thinking of doing stuff like Nirvana, Greenday, Transatlantic, Extreme, Sting, The Beatles and so on. I sing and play guitar, he plays guitar. Wish us luck. Can't wait to see the panties start flying.

Re: Chit-chat

I'm sorry to hear that your band dissolved but it's great that you're trying something new. I wish you good luck. And as for the panties … let them come.

Re: Chit-chat

Good luck with the duo, Dramagod!
If you're ever in the vicinity, give us a shout, I'll get some panties ready

Re: Chit-chat

Thank you. But you girls can keep your panties on. For now at least. It'll take a while before we get the cogs rolling but when that happens, your panties will be the first ones I call dibs on.

Re: Chit-chat

Dramagod. If you are aiming at panties then Tom Jones might be a good cover! Good luck anyway, with the duo, such a shame The Band never actually got to perform on stage after all those rehearsals and practices. Acoustic is very popular here. I especially like Ed Sheeran's work.

Re: Chit-chat

Thanks Dav. And I know what you mean; Tom played here last summer and I almost threw everything I was wearing at the man. I really like his new acoustic version of Delilah. And I'm not aiming at panties, the ladies are aiming their panties at me. Or not. We'll see.

That's what I meant! Maybe you should wear a T-shirt with a pantie target on it!

There's one band that already did that.

Re: Chit-chat

So it is right: Playing music is all about girls. And always have been. And always will be.
Ask whoever you like, they all tell you they started because of the panties girls.

Sad when all band members leave. Could be nice to work as a duo though. My husband's band are four and there's always some trouble. And discussions. And quite often one is sick or has to work, so actually they are a band of 3.
I wish you luck!
