Peacock - a reference to the then fashion scene?
Mistress - smacks of blackmail...
Glass - Glaspalast in Moabit/corpse discoveries in 1927?
Offline
Dark curly haired investigator with slim muscular arms almost falls with a mistress with more than dubious habits? That was simple!
Next he will be thrown out of the flat for permanent violin noise.
The case is about killing by glass, internal or external use. Females like our mistress of course prefer internal use. If she is the villain.

So am I, Tobe. Didn't know about those corpses. Maybe this could be an inspiration for no. 5. Then I'll know to whom I'll dedicate the book.

Had to think a minute before I got the joke. Good old Gdansk.
I love your ideas. Let them come. I just hope you won't discover the whole plot before I even started writing the book.

I have no ideas, so I stick to quotes
MADAME SZYSZKO-BOHUSZ: Can I have more cashews?
CAROLYN: My pleasure. With salt or broken glass?
MADAME SZYSZKO-BOHUSZ: Salt. With salt. Only with salt!
CAROLYN: I will make a note of it.

I love this episode. Strudel or cheesecake?

2nd edit: Now I got the joke as well!
I can't go on tonight, still have to work and my internet keeps collapsing as well.
But in case we guess the plot, we'll keep mum, promise

Does peacock ever apply to females?
You mean human females? No, I don't think so.
A female peacock is a peahen. She is a pale, drab shadow of her male partner.

It's always like that, with birds!

I know, isn't that strange? Human females dress themselves in color, shine, textures, in body-fitting styles. The men dress like penguins at formal events and like college students the rest of the time.
But I think in English, when a man is called a peacock, it's not so much about his looks as his strutting attitude of superiority, especially, yes, if he happens to be well-dressed. Not necessarily about being effeminate or gay, more like having a nose-in-the-air, holier-than-thou, aren't-I-perfect? kind of attitude, especially if dressed impeccably.

Tooth is much better thanks. Just had really tiring day yesterday and not the positive experience I had hoped for. Nothing too awful. I'm knackered today though!
Seriously considering trying to order Susie's books. What with that and reading another novel in my German class once a week and watching Italian detective series I'm a bit worried I might get a bit confused. Si? Ja?
My smiley follows me everywhere. I stole it from John and Sherlock's wall in their flat.
Should have realised it's a bullet-hole smiley.

AG that sounds just like Mycroft!

Now you blew up my story. It's all about Mycroft. Now I must think about something new.

I know. But what I love about Mycroft is his vulnerability when it comes to his brother. He has a big, soft, squishy, frustrated place in his heart for Sherlock-- can't live with him or without him. Lovely. I hope TPTB make a bit more of their relationship in coming episodes.... if we all live long enough to see it. Sigh.

Glass. For sure not Philip. Also to early for Hermann Hesses Glasperlenspiel
What if glass is from a mirror, some broken delusion, a destroyed dream?
Could be dangerous
Also, something fake and cheap can be referred to glass.
The False Tiger Jewel from Eshnapur ?!?
No, this would India again. No more India
But something that was very disappointing.
How are they relayed to each other?

Well, they are all part of the novel. But I can't give any hints. You know, it soon would be all over Twitter and Tumblr and then nobody's going to buy the book.

Just a question for myself... my skull is out

Ah, I see. Think aloud, it's not annoying.
