Germany board meet up

Well, ladies, Mädels:
Mattlocked is right: We need an extra thread for this.
I think, at least some of us like the idea of a meet up - including me.
To speed things up and set off the wave I could offer you the following:

My place. (You know Grönemeyer's favourite city? Then you know where I live.)
My sofa. (Quite big. Almost bigger than the room it's standing in.  )
Any relevant DVD and a brave DVD player. Unfortunately, no flatscreen TV.
Tea.
Coffee.
Crisps.
Marmite.
And, if watching seven episodes should last until the early hours of the morning: There'll be some space to rest your weary heads.

Date: If October, then 21st/22nd or 27th/28th. (Haven't thought about November yet.)

Of course - if you have a better place/idea/date: I'm open to everything. Just let me know.

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

I BELIEVE IN SERIES 5!

Re: Germany board meet up

Great idea, Tobe. For me 27th/28th would be definitely better as my son has an important hockey event on 20th/21st (22nd is Monday) in Mainz. November could be a bit difficult for me.

Wow, that's...... BRILLIANT!

27th/28th suits me, too - what I can tell right now.
Only problem might be my back, but there is an appointment at the orthopedist next week, so maybe the worst will be solved until then.

Re: Germany board meet up

I'm living in the town with the football club that won five German championships in the 1970s. And which is named after young horses.

Re: Germany board meet up

Any other date suggestion?
Or shall we keep the weekend October 27th/28th on our schedules then?

Unfortunately not. The closest I know of for me is in that city with that little church close to the river.

Re: Germany board meet up

Mattlocked, the club is name after horses, not the town! Fohlen-Elf, you know.
For me the weekend 27th/28th is still okay.

tobe, that's fine! I have to save money for my special wallpaper.
Maybe we can go to your bookstore and pave it with Post-its.

Back in the Seventies, I was a big fan of the Fohlenelf, the best ever in my opinion. Nowadays I'm more into the black/yellow team, but I still love the green/white/black.

Re: Germany board meet up

Klopp's boys are okay - but it's a pity they bought Marco Reus. We're missing him over here.

Re: Germany board meet up

Hm... I hope our meeting will not end up in a football team discussion.
Ah, just start the dvd for me and then talk whatever you like.

Re: Germany board meet up

I promise I won't talk about football when Sherlock's on. I'll need the following equipment:
2 bottles of smelling salt (minimum)
1 soft mattress for thudding
various refreshments to overcome the shock

That could easily be arranged, Susi...
