Well, that ending would certainly free up our boys' schedules! I wonder if they could move up the filming for Sherlock now...

Looking forward to the behind-the-scenes footage of him crawling around on his belly in a motion-capture suit pretending to be a great fire breathing lizard.

The dragon will be computer-generated, but based on his movements and face. He will act out the part, and they will sort of map the CG character over his performance, so it will somewhat resemble him.
Isn't this Martin's thread? Shame on us.

I too am looking forward to seeing the behind the scenes for this haha.

Did anyone watch The Hobbit production diaries? Cool idea, nice of them to do. Not a lot of Martin but he's funny when they do show him. He does an impression of Dennis from Little Britain (write the theme tune, sing the theme tune). Haha

Re: .. as close as Sherlock and John will get in the first Hobbit movie ;)

I  am now reading the book.  It's not Martin on the cover though,  but  every time Bilbo is mentioned, I do see Martin in that role.   And now I see why they cast Martin.   In the book,  the little hobbit was supposedly about 50  ish.   I can't wait to see this movie.   Dec 14th  ,  hurry  up  and come!!  the video link above has been removed by the user.  I can't watch the video.   I  wonder why?

^ I started reading it too. Picked up one with Martin on the cover - I'm picturing him while reading as well. I really like Tolkien's writing style, it's fun. I haven't read LOTR but may after this one.

You know you have arrived in the modern fandom when not only you hear Doyle reading the Sherlock's stories in a baritone voice. But you also find yourself picturing Smaug with a blue scarf!
