Yes, I have to laugh each time when I see that scene.

Very funny that John should make such a remark at all.

Yes, he sounds a bit like unwillingly being in fangirl mode...

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Horrible..face.

That's OK, Emy. You're not the only one.  A few of us definitely prefer the dark, Sherlock hair (even though Ben's hair is naturally "ginger).

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Blonde is not my fave on him either but I don't think it's bad...I think my fave is his natural ginger.

Oh yes.....John's certainly not oblivious to the magnetism of the man walking beside him.  On one level he has certainly taken notice; on the other, he enjoys deflating the old ego a bit.  Makes the playing field a little more level for him I think; and Sherlock seems to tolerate it - with a certain amount of acceptance because its coming from John.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I'm not a huge fan of his blond hair, but I am a fan of his beautiful face, so here are some pics from Parade's End...

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

No fan of the blond hair--- why can't they leave his natural auburn alone I wonder. I like the nekkid one hovering over his lover in bed. Mmmm. Only thing better would be if that pic had his dark Sherlock curls, then it would be absolutely positively THUDworthy.

Love your little THUD cartoon man, Susi. Too cute.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I'm not sure why they made him blond, other than maybe the character is based on a book and in the book the character is blond?  But the character in the book is also ugly and fat, which Ben is obviously NOT, so if they were okay with having a slim, hot guy, they should have been okay with his natural hair color. But they didn't ask for my opinion when they made the show, haha.

I agree about the second picture being perfect if he had Sherlock hair.  And maybe a slightly less angry look on his face.  *swoon*

I don't think that's his natural hair color, not unless they've got him under some spotlights or something to make him look blond. His natural color is auburn, what the Brits call ginger-- brown with red highlights. He was blond for a long, long time there for a while, for War Horse and for Parade's End. This looks like the blond thing.  Cute pic, though.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He did try to eat himself into the part of Christopher straight after having slimmed right down for the part of Sherlock. He just couldn't pack enough pounds on though.

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.
