So since I'm home sick today, I'm watching Benedict's work on Netflix... The Last Enemy is a BBC show on Netflix that stars our Benny.  (It also features the guy who plays Rumpelstiltskin in ABC's Once Upon A Time, which is weird since I've watched that series and keep thinking of him as Rumpelstiltskin...)  I'm not too impressed with The Last Enemy itself, but it does give LOTS of screen time to our guy.

Mmm. Closed eyes. Green eyes. Boxers. Could today get any better??

Glad I could help.  I'm developing quite a stash of pictures on my laptop... It makes me feel very productive to take screen shots of all my favorite BC faces. :D

You guys wait until that Star Trek movie comes out next year. At least then, people all over the world will have heard of the delish BC.... even if they make him ugly-barbarian and put brown contact lenses in his eyes, his talent will shine through, and I believe people will notice. *hopes*

I totally agree, AG.  I know that I, for one, despite NEVER having watched a Star Trek movie in my life, will most likely see the new one opening night.  My husband has been trying to convince me to watch Star Trek for years, but it just took one name in the credits - Benedict Cumberbatch - to get me to agree to see it.  Same goes for the Hobbit; though I did watch all of LOTR, I wasn't that excited about the Hobbit until I found out Ben and Martin would be in it!

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

OMG, what are you doing here while I'm in bed? Pretty bum discussions, cute videos, can't you wait till I'm awake? Thanks for the morning treat, Tobe.

And now coming back to the hands: Benedict in the kitchen. The quality isn't very good but it's nice to watch him squashing tomatoes with a knife.

And the best thing about that pic, except for perhaps the undone tie, is the Sherlock hair. My fave. Yum.

All I know is, he can chop my onion and tomato and whisk my eggs any day of the week. I love his porny hands.  I suppose they aren't really porny hands, but in my imagination, they sure could be, lol. Lovely fingers.

Loved this. He had the Sherlock hair (yayy!), and a leather jacket, and well, yum.

Saw that cooking video some time ago, poor tomatoes.

For a tomato it must be a lovely way to die by his hands.

We should blame the tomato or the knife, I'm sure usually he's a very good "tomato chopper".

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I wouldn't use such a knife to slice tomatoes. It looks very big and not too sharp but of course I'm no chef.

Pretty much, he looked uncomfortable throughout. Prolly got on his mobile directly after the filming and instructed his agent to cease and desist with the "let's get publicity anywhere we can" idea. Even the food they made looked kind of dreadful-- scrambled eggs on two slabs of toast with way too many icky spices in it? Yucko. But somehow, the man makes everything look classy, doesn't he.

Some strictly scientific hand appreciation:

I just did some studies in TBB and noticed that the hand above on the left is not Sherlock's either but John's hand. Sherlock's wearing gloves in this scene. A largely useless piece of information but there you are.

Oh wow... well, we all know the British aren't known for their culinary skills; poor guy.  Is it wrong that it made me annoyed to hear him talk about his girlfriend cooking for him?!  I'm guessing that's his first and last appearance on a cooking show.  But I agree that he looks delicious, even if the food is not so much...

I LOVE the Sherlock hair too.  I have always loved long-ish, unruly, curly dark hair.  My husband keeps his a bit shorter than Sherlock's most of the time, but he does have some cute, dark curls.  And green eyes.  His similarities to Sherlock end there, however.

Okay, with all these good pictures, how do you decide which one to have as your desktop background?!
