I'm really sorry, BB. I remember you said your dad had cancer. I hope you're coping, and your mum too. It must be so difficult trying to organise everything while looking after her and dealing with no wifi too. Can you tether a laptop and use your phone's data? I don't cope well with doing things on my phone either.
Yes, I'm Benedict has faults. I always think I would hate to be famous as I'm sure some people would have some negative stories about me!
Anyway, thank you for updating us. Condolences on your loss.

I know you posted this a while ago now, besley, but I hope you are hanging in there. I know how devastating it can be to loose a parent and deal with everything surrounding that. I hope you have been able to find some peace these past few weeks, even if only for a fleeting moment.

Hi guys, that's me just back from Scarborough.
Sorry, still find it a bit of a trauma, attempting to access the forum on my phone!
I have something I wish to post on(oh actually, a couple of things!), but will do that later.
Dad's funeral was lovely and went really well.
So nice to see all of the family, but such a shame it's always for something so sad.

I'm glad he had a lovely funeral. I hope you're OK. I think things can hit you after the funeral even more in a way.

To be honest, by that time, we were already to move on...
poor Mum still struggling.
She just wants him back, you know, well...
but in reality he'd had enough and was ready to go.
I am glad he is at peace.

I think I understand your feeling. It's devastating to lose someone, but when you know they were ready to go you know that they are no longer in pain. Kind of a cold comfort at times, but you have to acknowledge it.

Thought I had better check in, before I head off again...still find it difficult to access the forum via my phone.
Anyhow, mixed family news.
my wee grandson had to be circumcised, following persistent infections. He found it all a bit traumatic, but has thankfully bounced back.
Mum is doing much better. She thankfully survived the short trial of carers.
My youngest cousin has just had a brain tumour removed.
he is at home.
But I am not entirely sure what the prospects are.

Your poor wee grandson. Good that he's getting over it now. And that your mum is OK. I hope you get some good news about your cousin.
