The Way Old Friends do.

Saw this last night.
Ian wrote and starred in it.
Mark directed it.
Another comedy, though not dark, like Moffat's The Unfriend.
Incidentally, Mark stars in a new show next week.
He is to take the role of Gielgud, in the new play about Burton/Taylor.
It will air at The National Theatre, but unfortunately I will be back in Scotland.

Re: The Way Old Friends do.

I saw he was playing Gielgud. I can really see him in the part: he has such a lovely voice.  It's a shame about the timing for your trip!

Re: The Way Old Friends do.

I am so out of touch with the prices of London tickets! The things I go to see are usually £20 - £30! Maybe they'll film it at some point?

Re: The Way Old Friends do.

Apparently it's because the National has lost its sponsors.
