Re: Cumberspotting - most recent photos

Mischievous Ellen decided to scare Benedict witless:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Cumberspotting - most recent photos

Ellen hasn't scared anyone on her show (at least who I was interested in) in a while, so this was a fun surprise. I always feel a little sorry for people when she scares them, but I can't help but laugh at the different kinds of reactions people give.
My other favourite scare was when Jim Parsons was on the show a number of years ago, now.

He looks like a dad (just a bit more fashionable than you might expect a dad to be). And that's not a negative!

Re: Cumberspotting - most recent photos

That is true! I guess I say that because the moustache reminds me of the one my dad had when I was little, so the image conjures "dad" in my mind.
