There is something new in the Sherlock universe - not quite sure what it is but I subscribed (then you get a nice audio clip with Mycroft and Sherlock):
So, whatever this may be about, one thing is clear: the show is not over, they are trying to keep the fandom going.

But how exciting is this?
My youngest human child has suggested a stage show of some sort.

It's so exciting! I'm glad they keep the fandom going, whatever this project is! I also hope people outside of London will get something out of it too

Well I am assuming we may all have to make a pilgrimage to London, for whatever it is and I only hope some of us can manage this!

Ewige: My thoughts exactly:
Besley: Yes, Steven is said to have written a play last year but it was never mentioned in any detail.

Yay!

What fun! I doubt I'll make it to London, so hoping there's something online as well. Any guesses as to what it is?
Edit: just noticed your post, Susi. So it might be a play? Let's hope it tours, if so.

I'm guessing a Sherlock Holmes drama!
Whether an original story or a newly concoted one, I dunno...

I signed up for the news letter.
Feeling nostalgic. This weekend will be a year since I went to the Sherlocked convention. It was wonderful even if BC was not able to attend.

Yes I signed up, too.
I just can't believe we have got anything....only 16 months after S4 aired...
Are we thinking a Victorian piece?

This reminds me of the Network mobile game. I've played it two or three times already. That also features new clips, both audio and video.
But seeing as it is specified to be in London, I doubt it would be something like that .(But in the game, you are also "recruited" as an outsider, to be part of the Network and help Sherlock out).
So maybe it's a bit more interactive than just a drama?
I am personally not hyped about this seeing as I won't be able to go to London anyway. But I really like that Sherlock still lives.

I'm just hoping it's a time I can get down to London...unless I am so lucky that it happens to be on when I'm in London, anyway!
I mean I have managed to get to see Mark a few times that way, already!

Nice, I signed up as well. If it is in London, I doubt I will be able to go. Maybe as part of a spontaneous trip.
But I'm really curious what that can be? I read that some believe it to be a kind of escape room experience. Maybe thats true. You can get hints from people in the show (Sherlock, Mycroft, Lestrade...) via audio or video and it involves YOU, because you are the one to solve the puzzle to get out of the room.

Ah I didn't realise it was an escape room people were talking about, I love them...they just kept going on about 'interactive experiences'.
What was the 12 days thing?
Apparently people were getting excited saying it could happen as soon as in 12 days time.

A Sherlock-themed escape room could be fun! I wonder if it would be like Sherringford?

Oh how cool would that be?!

Oh, that makes sense - would be awesome!

We’ve got another clue! And I have no clue what it means...

I can see me spending the whole of my long weekend trying to work this out...
Where the hell is Alan Turing when you need him?!
However, I was just thinking about the new project today...so glad we have in fact got a further clue.
Wonder if we will get one a week?

Sorry, to reply to my own comment.
Ok apparently some fan girls have worked it out.
They say you need to write it out as one word.
They say it's mentioned in The Blind Banker( the bloody episode I watch the least!)
I am thinking the code Sherlock works out from the A-Z...what the hell is the word he says?!
Okay I eventually had the sense to find and play the Blind Banker...and of course what Sherlock works out is the Black Tramway...but that gets me nowhere.
Okay so I've tried various bits of TBB.
This is how far I've got: each pair of symbols is a word...as that's what Sarah points out to Sherlock.
So it's a six word sentence or title...
