It's showing, what I assume to be British time. I did select Australian Eastern Standard Time when I registered but it seems to have forgotten. How to make it remember?

I listed my time zone as Eastern Standard, but there is no accounting for Daylight Savings so my time is (currently) an hour off. I suspect that it will change in October when we turn the clocks back. Although my time on here is already an hour behind, so I don't know.

Go onto My Profile and then change the time zone.

Idk about saturnR but I did. I can get mine to work if I change it to AST, but I live in EST.
I think saturn's issue is that it won't stay changed to the correct time zone.
Whatever though; I'm sure no one pays much attention to the time that I post. And mine is only off by an hour.

Banbha, select -4 AST and it should display American EST correctly, not off 1 hour.

everyone--I live in -08 PST. When it's daylight savings time, it's Spring forward fall back, right? Welll-- the time zone here is tricky. Instead of going fwd in the list, which would have been 8.5 on the list, I went BACKWARDS, to -07 MST on the list. That way I'm showing the right time when I log in here. When I'm NOT logged in, it shows the default time, which is the British time, I assume.
The time zone list here doesn't really have all the letters next to the numbers...therefore I can't tell which country is where, on the list that is. I hope this helps.

It will only show the time zone you picked if you're logged in. Otherwise it's GMT.
And, yes, Daylight Saving Time is a problem.

I have set it for you, I'll check back later to see if it stays that way.

Thanks so much for setting it for me.

Haha, mine is 5 hours off and I've never bothered to change it.

Obviously, something is wrong with this board, because it's showing the right time for me. And as other Americans know, the Mountain Time Zone does not actually exist. (TV shows are routinely given air times for Eastern, Central and Pacific on cable.) Most websites think I'm in Mexico.
