I hope it's going well!

I had some pics from tonnaree who is very happy and has lots of fun. There is quite a lot of discussion on tumblr about the writers contradicting themselves quite a lot (where the overall plot, props, etc. are concerned) but the mood seems to be fine.

Lovely to hear that Tonnaree is having a great time there! For some reason, I didn't think to look on tumblr (have had a look on twitter) I did come across this interview from just before the convention:
Nothing terribly new, but vaguely positive about S5 - well, not ruling it out, anyway.

From what I read about the meet & greets Sue and Mark were vaguely positive as well. Not a word about TFP being the last episode ever.

Woohoo!

That sounds great!

Hmmm ...

That sounds a lot more positive than when I heard him speak.

They seem to forget what they said weeks ago these days.

Possibly it's old age!
Bless him.

Wasn't it Benedict who said it felt like an ending (not in so many words)? Whereas in terms of the stories, it's more like a beginning, a starting point if they wanted to continue to do mature John and Sherlock (or so I like to hope!)
On the other hand, in that previous interview I posted, Steven said that they hadn't even talked about what they would do with S5.

What about some plain text instead of beating around the bush then?

Indeed.

Well I don't know about the con party, but Moffat went on record repeatedly saying they had't had time to talk about s5 yet. We all know how busy Ben's schedule is. I think the situation is pretty clear.
Arguing with a fan over a drink might have been a funny exercise for him and nothing else.

Maybe Steven Moffat should not say things like "Mary shot Sherlock nicely". No idea if he was joking but this is just stupid.

Oh come on we've had this before.
Anyone who knows Steven: it's his West Coast Scottish humour.

Oh for goodness sake he got over it.
He's alive and well, which is more than can be said for Mary!

I think everybody should decide that for him- or herself, if it's not too much to be asked.

As I'm from this geographical area, I'd agree with this - I miss this sort of humour sometimes! Sometimes things he's said have riled people and just made me laugh!
