I read most of this website since years, and I think it is really great. But I never did register here. 

But now, in TFP were some things which will be discussed here, I am sure, especially about the "Redbeard"-story. This is very interesting to me, for personal reasons, and I want to have the opportunity to join the discussion.

- But I would like to introduce myself at first. I am from Germany and probably elder than most of you (64). I am a teacher, but I am unfit for work since some years (PTSD). I like internet discussions, mostly such  based on Tolkien. I like ACD canon very much, and sometimes I write fanfiction.

And I am glad that I am here now. You seem to be great company.
