I 'called' something with my ficlet I wrote after the 'I love you' trailer... not completely though!
In my ficlet Sherlock had to chose between Mycroft and John to shoot... he choses John and towards the end realizes he imagined it; the end goes like this:
“What will it be? Tick tock; Mr Holmes”
Oh John. Look at me. Please. Keep your eyes on me,
Please.
Promise me.
“I love you”
