I'm usually not a scruff person but it's a new look for Sherlock and I can't get enough of it

Funny.
Chatting to one of my colleagues today.
She's never seen Sherlock in her life before, but tuned into TLD on Sunday.
She said to me: I know he's supposed to be a drug addict, but heck, that was the first time I really thought Benedict was sexy.

I think he was dieting like mad after Strange, too.
Did they film them in order?
Cos he may have been thinner in this episode, than in TST!

It's one of the strains on an actor's body: sometimes they have to stuff themselves to get fat and then virtually starve to get skinny...depending on the role.

I remember reading somewhere that his exercise regimen for Sherlock has specific elements to it, which would be different than when he would have been trying to bulk up his muscles for being a superhero. Both characters are physically fit, but in different ways. Sherlock is slim, but a superhero is more muscular. So he probably did his Sherlock regiment after Doctor Strange. But if he looks different in a particular episode, that's probably also makeup and lighting for an even more striking effect. I don't think he'd be able to change his body that quickly for just one episode, nor would it be worth it.
