Yeah, an almost "take a last look around before it's gone" kind of thing!
221B is definitely like a character of it's own! I can imagine, if it does get destroyed, a devastating scene (almost like the one of Mulder and Scully in the X-Files in Mulder's burnt out office) where John and Sherlock are standing in the ruined flat looking heartbroken.

I would certainly break my heart, but it fit's quite well with the "end of an era" theme we have been hearing about

Oh you're seeing it at the cinema, nice! Good luck though, make sure you take some tissues! I was really tempted to see it in the cinema but I don't think an emotionally wrecked me is something the public should be subjected to. Saying that, I guess everyone in the cinema is going to be in the same boat.

Sounds like a huge spoiler for the next eps so I'll just put in in tags. Just in case. Even tho I don't really believe PBS would reliease such a spoiler! Or maybe they just don't know what they are doing O.o

Did he seriously say "pretend" to die and "pretend" to be grieving?
Didn't sound like he was talking about them acting. Sounds more like they were acting being pretending.
