So I've showered (just in case - who knows when I'll get away from the net again), put on my "I ship it harder than Mrs Hudson" shirt, cleaned my glasses, stocked up on water, food and tissues, arranged my Sherlock dolls to watch the new ep together with me...
...and there are still two hours to go.

Haha, that's wonderful, ewige! You sound as prepared as you're gonna get.
I've walked the dog, am more than halfway through my bottle of champagne and box of chocolate, have backup-beer and am ready with two livestream links and one iPlayer!
Two hours to go...

Well tonight I'm in my 'Get Sherlock' pyjama... haven't bothered changing out of it since I'm at my friends house and we're nursing hangovers...
My friend got some snacks ready and we're waiting on dinner to arrive. Hopefully we should be done in time.
Next two times will be at my place and I'll have some fun with getting the stuff I mentioned before

Oh, for some reason I bought a roll of Ginger Nuts... *whistles*

How appropriate!

Hubby was in the room when I watched TST.
He was threatened with an inch of his life, if he as much as breathed!
I always switch off phone and lap top, after I've been on social media and told people not to contact me- as it's Sherlock time.
I would never answer the house phone or door, when I was watching!
Oh and I always go to the toilet beforehand!

Haha, awesome!
For this Sunday, I'll just have a couple of beers. No crisps, though.

As usual, I'm going to shut myself up in my bedroom, with a "Do not disturb, even if the world is ending" sign on my door, phone on mute, Doctor Who blanket, box of tissues and prayers for the wi fi to hold on...
Beforehand, a pit stop to the toilets and a warning (threat) to my mum : "don't talk to me for the next 1h30, or else there will be hell to pay ! Don't reply, just look frightened and scuttle !"

Sounds similar prep to mine!

Oh a word of warning... don't eat ice cream while watching.
I had bought a tub of ice cream last week and suddenly I forgot I was eating it... when the episode ended I was left with a tub full of melted ice cream!

I never eat when I'm viewing Sherlock...needs full concentration!

A glass of wine helps me concentrate. Honestly.

As this one's gonna be on so late before a work night, I will probably have my last small glass of water before I watch it.
I daren't drink too much too late, I would just be up all night for the loo.
Offline
This is my worst nightmare : needing the loo during the episode !

I give lessons in this: make sure you go before the show and as much as possible, I would really try not to drink anything through it...but only a small glass of water, if needed!
But then maybe just other people have better bladders than me!

I forgot one thing : I'm going to re-read The Dying Detective, to review all the details that could possibly be found in the episode !

Very studious.
I have read it before, but it was a while ago, I think.

It's quite a fun story.
