And make John more of a dick, I believe. Yes, a misunderstanding makes sense, especially as I think Sherlock appears to be distressed in the rest of that scene - perhaps the wrong person was killed. I'm very curious about Culverton and the lady in red watching though - it seems to be engineered by Culverton in some way.

As long as their friendship comes out of the testing stronger than before, that's the important thing. Because I would really hate to see their great friendship destroyed for whatever reason!

I am quite convinced that they will come out stronger than before. It's what everyone has always pointed out - their friendship is the core of the entire series.

Which means that John will have to become less of a jerk, for that to happen!

He probably will, later down the line.

I'm sure they will come out stronger friends; but most great friendships are forged through hardships...
I saw on Tumblr that the Russian TV station have chosen to name TFP: "Family Business" and TLD 'The Dying Detective'.
Apparently the russians often name the episodes themselves after the content rather than directly translating the title
(Like the Danes did with calling TRF 'Sherlock Holmes Death' )

Oh, my goodness, "Family Business" sounds like a huge spoiler! But fits with all the things we have been hearing about and suspecting. "Sherrinford", Mycroft, etc.

Phantom, do you have the link to the tumbl post?
I can't confirm the titles browsing the TV schedule of the respective channel (it's only available till Jan, 1 at the moment).

Oh, thought the title was about the Watsons.

Sherlock has started tweeting. Remember Joe Lidster saying that he would not continue the blog but had something new in store for 2017? Someone has set up Twitter accounts for Sherlock, John, and Culverton Smith so I think we can expect tweets instead of blog entries.

Time to get a twitter account, then!

I lost it down the line of posts, but here it is:
And ooh. I knew there was a reason I made a twitter account some time ago, despite not using Twitter. xD

That's exciting, Susi!
I had the idea that TST would be the Watson's story, but TFP would be the Holmes' story. Which I would prefer. (Although perhaps there's a family connection with Mary in TFP - we'll see).

Thank you. The girl seems Russian alright but she doesn't state her sources. We'll see.
Also, how do I know which Sherlock is "our" Sherlock? There are so many of them on Twitter! O.o
*feeling totally lost*

People seem to think this is 'our' Sherlock

I got the impression it was done by a fan?

It was made in 2015, and hasn't made a single post, though... I don't know, but it seems likely to me that it could be 'it'

Possibly. But it is a fact that the above article mentions Sherlock being on Twitter all the time and Joe Lidster definitely announced something new connected with the show. Therefore a Twitter account for Sherlock seems quite plausible.

Time to re-activate my Twitter account then. :-p

Alright guys.
I've been looking into that "Family Business" title and I can't really confirm this information at all. While plausible (since the last word is Sherrinford), it hasn't been mentioned anywhere else in Russian media, message boards etc. The person who tweeted it referred to the TV channel's representative defending the different title, saying that the translators basically knew better what the last es was about. I haven't found any mention of such an interview anywhere.
We'll know for sure in a fortnight when the official translation will be published in the TV schedule.
EDIT:
this pic is the only sourse I found. It looks legit but it doesn't mean it's really from the TV station. It's weird that they didn't translate the show's title and the "season" while they are so quick about translating everything else. Still, no mentioning of any interviews with the channel's reps.
