Can't wait to see this. And can't wait to see who'll be his adversary. 
Of course, Benedict will play an American again. Makes you wonder... aren't there any American actors who could play this role...? I'm sure of course that Benedict will be as wonderful as ever.

Hmm, any suggestions which American actor could fit into this role?

Well, in fairness, it's not all that easy to portray genius convincingly, and Edison was certainly a fascinatingly flawed individual. (And with it being a Weinstein production, it sounds like a role with serious Oscar potential.)

Yes! Benedict + Jake (loved him in Nightcrawler) + historical drama = a recipe for success. I'm also thinking this means another American accent for Benedict to add to his repertoire. I'm guessing this one will be a Michigan accent (where Edison grewup)?
