I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

This looks almost dangerous:

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

I loved how he jumped up towards the end of the Jenga game when it finally collapsed. Hah! It's really worth watching

And those battle scenes, wowzer. (and... have you seen those arms!!!)

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

Benedict and Chiwetel look so bloody cool together...! I'm hoping for lots and lots of scenes with the two of them together.

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

Okay, ladies. Prepare yourselves for a movie with a BatchFactor of 99 %.
This morning I went to a press screening and boy, did that film wake me up...! The man - as was to be expected - is all over the place. It's fantastic. He's fantastic. The visual effects are fantastic. And it's really worth it to watch this film in 3D. I'm usually not a huge fan of it, but in this case it looks amazing.
This is 'only' a Marvel movie and the man still managed to bring tears into my eyes... The film really is everything I had hoped for... I'm not sure if it will appeal to hardcore Marvel-fans, because it is a bit different from most of the other movies. But I love it. Every second of it (well, maybe expect for two or three lines if dialogue, but hey, this is action and not poetry).
I'll put more in spoiler tags, but not all that much really, because it'll be much more fun to share this with all of you soon...

- first things first: In a short scene during the end credits there is a pretty clear hint that Doctor Strange will also appear in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok". I think there has been talk and rumors about this before, but this now seems to be the final proof. Wow. This would mean that we could get a couple of scenes with Loki and Strange...
- Benedict is hot. It's as simple as that. In my opinion he is perfect in the role and manages to capture Strange's journey beautifully. He gets the chance to act, he gets the chance to be a complete asshole and a complete hero. And he gets the chance to give us his typical "Yupp".
- At the very end of the end credits Chiwetel makes another appearance... seems he will change sides in the next movie. I love the fact that he apparently will be on board again, but man, I was hoping for more, uhm, bromance. (Yes, sorry for that one...)

And I guess that's it for now. Definitely need to see the film again. And again.

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

Those promo pics are great, nakahara.
I really like Tilda anyway, but she is absolutely amazing in this movie. So is Chiwetel... all his scenes with Benedict are just . Their chemistry is wonderful.

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

Oh Solar you lucky woman!

I can't wait. I really can't. I think I'll even go to both screenings i booked even if my friend doesn't get out of the hospital! So I'll both get it in 3D and then the Imax 2D format.

Btw... last night's red carpet was so worth waking up at 3am for :D

Re: Doctor Strange (spoilers)

Thank you, mrshouse. I really had a great time... no commercials, no popcorn...
Seriously, I wish I knew when I'll be able to watch it again, because next week will be reeeeaaally busy here. I guess that's the price I'll have to pay now...
But I'm wishing you a fantastic time with Mister Strange!!
